4 Steps To Achieving Your Goals And Dreams!

Each of us have our own unique vision, our own set of goals and dreams. We can break these into short-term and long-term goals.

What are your goals and dreams?

Is it to spend more time with your family? Travel more often? Buy a bigger home? Earn more to help others? Send your child to college?…

How will you feel when you achieve these?

I believe that one of the reasons you may have decided to have your own home based business is to create the right environment to help you achieve your goals and dreams. Maybe having your own home based business was or is a goal? In order for you to achieve your goals, you will need to have a formula.

Here is a simple formula that I came up with, which I have used in the past and still do today, as I focus on my next set of goals. I am sure this can work for you too!

4 STEPS to achieving your goals and dreams!

Believe + Visualize + Work Hard + Stay Focused = SUCCESS

1) Believe:  You have to first believe in YOU and that YOU CAN  achieve your goals and dreams.

2) Visualize:  You must be able to clearly and precisely see your goals and dreams. The more crystal clear and specific they are, the better. Include your desired time-frame for achieving them and write them down!

3) Work Hard: Well, this has always been true for me at least, and most likely you too! Acknowledge that  blood, sweat, and tears will be necessary in order for you to get what you want. Work on the right things that will help move you closer to your goals and dreams.

4) Staying Focused: This is really important in order to keep you on track and aligned with achieving your goals and dreams. So how do you do this with so many outside distractions competing for your time and attention?

I am going to show you a really neat and extremely simple exercise that I did as a way to stay focused, and keep my goals and dreams in my daily vision. If you enjoy art, then you will love this!


Gather the following materials, magazines, scissors, glue, and a piece of card/paper. Start browsing the magazines and look for visuals that match your goals and dreams. To give you an idea, here is what I included on mine the last time I did this exercise; marriage, child, home with a pool, weighing scales, vacation, and a business. When I created this, I had just arrived from the UK, and was starting a new life in the USA. My dream from being 15 years old was to return to the USA, my birth place. I made a point to keep this visual on my desk, so I could keep my goals and dreams in daily sight. I made a point of keeping my vision board  and as I came across it the other day, I realized that I had achieved every single goal on my vision board. I don’t share this with you to be boastful, but rather to encourage you to keep your goals and dreams in daily vision, to help you stay on track.

So what are your goals and dreams? What do they look like, specifically? When do you want to achieve these by ? Most important... Do YOU BELIEVE in YOU? Do you believe that you CAN achieve your goals and dreams?   Are you willing to do the work?

Go ahead and write your down your goals and dreams right now, and have fun creating your powerful vision board tool. Keep it in a place where you can be reminded daily of your goals and dreams!
