Vince Lombardi, best known for his leadership as the head coach of the Green Bay Packers during the 1960’s. His leadership led the team to three straight league championships and five in seven years, including winning the first two Super Bowls following 1966 and 1967 NFL seasons.

“Vince” began his coaching career as a high school teacher. As a coach, his leadership communication style was that of part expert and part visionary. He raised the expectation of his team and helped them to apply their talents by the framework he gave them through his teaching. His players say he got them to play better because he raised their expectations of themselves.
