How To Have More Confidence

How can you soar like eagle and accomplish the things you want in life?

One of the biggest barriers that prevents people from making the progress they want in life is a perception that the achievement, growth or progress they desire is a moonshot away.  It feels way beyond their comfort zone and is vaster than their self concept. The very progress or accomplishment they desire soars like an eagle way above the image they have of themselves.

One of the things that brings me the most joy is speaking and coaching, helping clients to elevate to make progress and achieve their goals and dreams in life, equipping them with strategies and tools they need so they can transcend beyond their current situation.

I am often asked… How do you get out of your comfort zone and elevate? How do you gain more confidence and achieve the things you want in life?

How would your favorite hero handle it?

How confident and competent and courageous are they? When a person feels more competent their confidence increases and the more confidence they have the more likely they are to be more courageous, to try new things and go after what they want in life.

So what can you do to begin to become more confident? What can you do to honor yourself and give yourself a high 5?

The first step is start where you are! Honor yourself in this moment.

Here are 4 Practices For Building More Self Confidence and Honoring Yourself!

1. Acceptance – self acceptance, that is to accept all parts of you, even the parts you may dislike or try to disown.

2.Authenticity – Honoring your true north, your inner compass. It’s speaking and behaving in a way that is true for you. Your words and actions are aligned and match your core values. You are being in integrity with who you are there is a congruence with what you think and feel.

3.Awareness – Self awareness. Owning your strengths and weakness. Being in touch with what you think, sense and feel. Self awareness is knowing what you want in life.

4.Achievement – Be in love with the idea of growth. Be willing to grow, to learn new things, to gain more knowledge, experience and develop a lifelong love and passion for learning. The more confident you feel, the more likely you will take action.

Start today, give yourself a high 5 and honor where you are right now, honor yourself and picture yourself soaring like an eagle and accomplishing what you desire and want in life. Shoot for the Moon.
